Indivisible of Coos County is a grassroots community organization dedicated to protecting democracy, defending civil rights, and building a more just, inclusive, and accountable society for all.

What we stand for
We do not look at left or right
Indivisible is a group of the people, for the people. We see the challenge as the richest few against the people — not millionaires, not small and medium sized businesses, but the billionaires and trillionaires who use their wealth to lobby government officials.
Monopolies buy subsidies for already profitable corporations, which are largely unregulated or self-regulated, and under taxed by governments. We can fix many of today’s issues by re-establishing and using the laws that protected people before: anti-monopoly laws, banning stock buybacks, restoring the tax structure of the 1950s, and more.

Flock cameras watch every plate that crosses North Bend. Get the FLOCK out of North Bend
North Bend’s Flock cameras detect about 150,000 vehicles every month in our town. We are asking the city to put the safeguards in writing and to adopt the ACLU’s CCOPS model for community control over police surveillance.
Money in politics
Stop corporations from contributing to politics
Since Citizens United, billions have flowed into every election cycle. Hawaii and Montana have shown a way out: each state can define what a corporation is. We are working to have Oregon define corporations as entities that cannot contribute to campaigns or policies.
